Dear Parents/Carers

This term we had the lovely Kate from Tafe run our community Garden course, this group consisted of school mothers and outside community members.

The group has transformed our school garden into a beautiful place, planting herbs, vegies, flowers and we have 2 new scarecrows which the students love.

Cassie De Celis has put a wonderful book together that the teachers can use with their classes to educate them about the sustainability and beauty of a garden, thank you Cassie.

This group has not only enjoyed joining together to enjoy this program but have formed friendships, they are meeting outside the school once a month and then at the Hub once a month to have a cuppa and work in the garden.

Everyone is welcome to join in, no previous gardening experience is necessary, just email me and I will connect you to them.

Our amazing school is not just a place for our children to learn, it is also for growing a connected community for our families.
