Celebrating Our Boys Dance Group at the Synergy Dance Festival
I am overjoyed to share some exciting news from this fortnight! Our Boys Dance Group has once again showcased their remarkable talent at the prestigious Synergy Dance Festival. This event brings together the best of the western Sydney region, offering a platform for public schools to celebrate the art of dance.
This year marked the second occasion that Kings Langley Public School has auditioned a boys-only dance group, and I am incredibly proud to announce that 23 talented boys from Years 1 to 5 successfully represented our school. Their performance at the Penrith Panther League Club was nothing short of spectacular!
The dedication, passion, and weeks of hard work put in by these boys truly shone through during their performance, earning them a resounding cheer from the audience. The joy and energy they brought to the stage were infectious, and they should all take great pride in their accomplishments this week.
A heartfelt congratulations to our Boys Dance Group for their outstanding performance! I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to Miss Karadjov and Miss Trenbath for their unwavering support and dedication in training the boys, making this wonderful opportunity possible.
Together, let’s continue to celebrate and encourage the talents of our students.
Our Soccer Knock Out Teams March On!
Our talented Soccer Knock Out Teams over the past few weeks, both our boys’ and girls’ teams have achieved remarkable success, progressing to the Third Round of competition.
The boys’ team has been on fire, showcasing their skills and teamwork with impressive victories. They cruised past Quakers Hill Public School with a solid 4-1 win in the first round and followed that up with a commanding 5-1 win against Bert Oldfield Public School in the second round. A special mention goes to Neo, who has been a standout performer, netting a hat trick in both games! James and Braxton have proven to be formidable in goal, while Jackson, Rai, Lucas, and Ryansh have displayed tremendous energy in the midfield. The boys are eagerly looking forward to their next match against Leonay Public School next Wednesday!
Our girls’ team has also had a dream start in their first two matches of the competition. They secured an incredible victory against Quakers Hill, winning 8-1! Their journey then took them to Ropes Crossing Public School, where they faced a challenging atmosphere with a large crowd against them. However, the girls’ exceptional football skills spoke volumes, and they silenced the vocal cheer squad with a 4-1 victory. Andie scored two goals, with additional goals from Anna and Isla sealing the win. The girls will face Castlereagh on the 2nd July, and we wish them the best of luck!
I would like to extend a huge shout out to Mr. Starr for his dedication in training and transporting our students to all their events. His commitment has been invaluable in supporting our teams’ success.
Let’s continue to cheer on our young athletes as they represent Kings Langley Public School with pride.
Celebrating Our Greater Western Sydney Dance Ensemble
I am excited to share some wonderful news regarding our talented students who recently participated in the Synergy NSW Public Schools Dance Festival as part of the Greater Western Sydney Dance Ensemble. Our students, Lillian, Piper, Mia, Lilian, and Maia, have been diligently preparing and rehearsing for this prestigious event, and their hard work has truly paid off!
I received a heartfelt message from their teachers at Nepean High, congratulating our students on their outstanding performance. They expressed their admiration for our students' professionalism, dedication and the exceptional quality of their performance on stage. Their commitment not only reflects the strength of our school community but also highlights the importance of public education in the arts.
The students represented Kings Langley Public School and the Greater Western Sydney region with great pride and their efforts throughout the rehearsal and performance process have been commendable. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and grateful for the ongoing support that enables our students to engage in such valuable programs.
Looking ahead, I am pleased to inform you that further correspondence will follow regarding their upcoming involvement in the Blue Mountains Nepean Dance Festival, which will take place at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre in September.
Thank you for your continued support of our students and their involvement in the arts. Let’s celebrate their accomplishments together!
Awesome Authors This Week
My Awesome Authors for this week: Amelia from 6C and Isaac from 4/5D! Both students have showcased their incredible writing talents, and I am proud to share their achievements with you.
Amelia has written heartfelt lyrics to a song that resonate deeply with today’s concerns and issues. Her ability to express such relevant themes through her writing is truly inspiring. Isaac, on the other hand, crafted an interesting information report on floods, demonstrating his research skills and creativity.
Both students were absolutely beaming when they came to share their work with myself and Mrs. Eves. Their enthusiasm and passion for writing are commendable and I want to extend my warmest congratulations to Amelia and Isaac for their outstanding contributions to their studies.

P&C Disco: A Night of Fun and Celebration
I am delighted to report that our semesterly disco was held last night, and it was a fantastic event! Students came dressed as their favourite movie characters, showcasing a wonderful array of creativity and enthusiasm. The excitement was palpable as students and teachers alike embraced the spirit of the evening.
Throughout the night, our students danced, sang, and enjoyed delicious treats, all while exhibiting exemplary behaviour. It was truly heartwarming to see everyone having such a wonderful time together.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to our P&C for their tremendous efforts in decorating the hall and providing the yummy treats and glow merchandise that added to the festive atmosphere. Your hard work is greatly appreciated!
Additionally, I would like to extend my gratitude to all the teachers who stayed for an extended workday to supervise and join in on the fun with our students. Your commitment to our school community does not go unnoticed.
Great job, team! Let’s continue to create memorable experiences for our students.

Celebrating Our Achievements at the X Network Coalition
Alongside Miss Chiu and Mrs. Pullinger, we had the wonderful opportunity to showcase the exceptional HPGE (High Potential and Gifted Education) opportunities we offer to our students across all four domains at a cross Network Meeting on Wednesday.
Our school proudly participated in the exhibition section of the professional learning session, and I am delighted to report that our display was met with enthusiasm and admiration. It was truly a proud moment for our entire school community, as we consistently strive to go above and beyond for our students.
I would also like to take a moment to express my gratitude to Miss Chiu and Mrs Pullinger for their hard work and dedication in preparing for this event. Your efforts did not go unnoticed! Our Director of Leadership, Mrs. Jo Gardiner, conveyed her appreciation with the following message:
Dear Jacqui, Amy, and Veronica,
A huge thank you for all of your efforts yesterday at the Expo, part of our Sharing of Practice event at Kimberwalli.
The energy and engagement of participants at your display were palpable! Your innovative idea of having a media team for students garnered much interest, and I heard many positive comments about it.
While we know this is work you already do, we also recognise the time and effort it takes to present and share your insights in such an impactful way.
Jacqui, your leadership in ensuring we had a clear evaluation strategy was invaluable. Thank you for sharing how feedback would be gathered.
We hope you left feeling inspired by this extraordinary day, of which you were an integral part.
With Gratitude,
Jenni, Natalia, and Jo
I am incredibly proud of our staff and the extraordinary efforts they put forth in representing our school. Together, we will continue to create enriching experiences for our students.

As we wrap up this edition of our newsletter, I want to take a moment to express just how proud I am to witness the extraordinary achievements of our students every single day. Their dedication, creativity and enthusiasm inspire not only their peers but all of us within the Kings Langley Public School community. It’s a privilege to be part of their educational journey.
Additionally, I am excited to welcome Mr. Lambert back next week. We look forward to his return and the positive impact he will have on our school community.
Thank you for your continued support and commitment to our students’ success. Together, we are making a difference!
Kind Regards
Mrs Hutton
